Liquor Licence and provision of alcohol

St Ignatius Vineyard supplies alcohol pursuant to Liquor Licence #32801957. Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (Vic), it is an offence:

  • to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years.
  • for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor.

Anyone under the age of 18 years is not permitted to enter St Ignatius Vineyard’s premises unless in the company, and under the supervision, of a responsible adult.

Place of applicable law

All trade or commerce with St Ignatius Vineyard (including a transaction entered into using this website) is governed by the law applicable in Victoria, Australia, and any dispute shall be determined by the courts in Victoria.

St Ignatius Vineyard prides itself on producing super premium wine and delivering exceptional service to customers. You may contact St Ignatius Vineyard if a product is defective, damaged, or if you believe you have received an incorrect product. If the issue is attributable to the negligence of St Ignatius Vineyard, they may exchange the product or arrange a refund at their absolute discretion and subject to product availability. 

While St Ignatius Vineyard will always endeavour to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase, they are unable to provide a refund or exchange where a customer simply changes their mind, places an incorrect order, or fails to provide accurate delivery information when placing an order. 

This returns policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

St Ignatius Vineyard does not warrant that any information (including any file) obtained from or through this website is free from computer viruses or other faults or defects. You agree and acknowledge that you are in a better position than St Ignatius Vineyard to foresee and evaluate any potential loss or damage that you may suffer in connection with the goods provided by St Ignatius Vineyard, and therefore that St Ignatius Vineyard cannot adequately insure you in respect of such liability. You warrant to St Ignatius Vineyard that you will insure against, or bear yourself, any loss for which St Ignatius Vineyard has excluded liability (“clause 4”).

Indemnity

You shall indemnify St Ignatius Vineyard and any third party, including its sub-contractors, from and against any liability, losses, rights expenses, loss of profits, business interruption, consequential loss, pecuniary loss, claims or legal proceedings, including, but not limited to claims involving defamation, misuse of commercial information and intellectual property infringement, where legal action arises out of or in connection with the use of St Ignatius Vineyard’s website or the purchase of goods from that website.

Severability

In the event that any term of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain valid and enforceable.
